It works. HyperLynx reads design data from most PCB software packages, so it is also used in Altium, Cadence, and Zuken environments.

It depends on the modules (SI, PI, DDR, 3D EM, Thermal) and the licensing model. For Xpedition Standard users, LineSim and BoardSim can also be accessed with tokens. Request a quote, and we’ll put together a package that includes only what you need.

Oh. The trial lasts 30 days, and we can run the first simulation together using your own circuit board.

LineSim is part of the pre-layout phase: it is used to test bus topologies and terminating resistors (pre-layout). BoardSim takes the finished layout and simulates it with actual wiring and layer structure (post-layout).
