Features
Constraint Manager transfers the electrical and physical rules from the schematic to the layout. The same constraints are not defined twice.
The Central Library keeps the symbols, footprints, and component data consistent, even if there are multiple designers.
The copper fill is updated dynamically, and routing is interactive. You can view the mechanics in 3D in the same window.
Reviews, comments, and file sharing are handled via the cloud. The supply chain is also integrated.

Token Extensions
Additional features are unlocked with token packs, which come in two sizes: 25 and 50 tokens. Tokens are only deducted when a feature is actually used. Token packages are ordered via quote.

A monthly license costs €306 and an annual license €3,057 per user (VAT 0%). You can purchase 1–50 licenses in a single order. Token packages for extensions are ordered via quote.
Yes. The first month is free of charge, and you will have access to the full version without feature restrictions. During the trial, you can access Siemens’ On-Demand training materials, and questions are answered in Finnish.
Xpedition Standard is Siemens’ newer PCB solution. It is based on the same Xpedition technology as PADS Professional, but adds cloud-based collaboration, token-based extensible features, and AI-assisted functions. Siemens recommends it to new customers. PADS users can get started with it using a familiar workflow.
We offer import tools for the most common formats, including Altium, OrCAD, and KiCad. We can help you migrate your libraries and ongoing projects, and we’ll tailor onboarding training for your team.
The license can be renewed for the following month or year. We will remind you well in advance of the end of the period so that your work is not interrupted. In any case, the design files are yours to keep.
